Position Description

Account Managers are responsible for incorporating insights from emerging marketplace trends into account growth strategies and plans, applying our compelling and innovative new products and methods to reach a select market, delight our clients, and grow our accounts and engagements. Account Managers, in partnership with the Managing Director of Delivery, build and drive adoption of our existing delivery solutions, ensure customer delight, and drive up the value our delivery teams can provide to existing and prospective clients. Account Managers are market-facing and accountable for top-line account growth/revenue generation in alignment with enterprise goals.

What You'll Do

Inform TC strategy and go-to-market approach for Accounts Deliver top-line account growth/revenue generation in alignment with enterprise goals Build and drive adoption of our existing delivery solutions Stay abreast of current and emerging market demands and provide input to the creation of products, methods, and solutions Accountable for the success of the Account, including client success and satisfaction, financial performance, and team effectiveness Serve as elevation/escalation point for client relationship management at the Account level; manage primary client relationships Identify, evaluate, and manage risks (people, financial, contract, etc.) associated with the Account Advise on and support the shaping and scoping of work; inform pricing strategies and validate technical approaches Partner with the Centralized BD Office on capture and bid reviews and resourcing within the Account in alignment with market strategy and growth goals Participate in marketing and networking efforts to share TC's value proposition and build brand awareness Anticipate and report on pipeline activities and associated talent requirements to fulfill demand Develop and manage staff; contribute to a culture of learning and development to drive individual and organizational growth and performance Ensure resources are applied for talent development and performance management, succession planning, methodology development, and the application of best practices across delivery, growth, quality of delivery and customer satisfaction Contribute to the development and execution of the company's annual strategy and financial plan Translate and demonstrate TC's vision, objectives, and expectations Meet annual performance targets (e.g., pipeline, utilization and revenue) What You'll Bring

Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred 15+ years of professional work experience 10+ years managing large-scale consulting projects and change management initiatives and/or client relationships 5+ years managing people/teams Proven track record of capturing and managing net new leads and growing business with current clients Proficiency in change strategy, strategic planning, organizational design, leadership development, process improvement, and/or IT transformation Strong group facilitation skills with the ability to achieve desired outcomes when there are high-stakes and high-complexity Proficiency in spreadsheet, presentation creation tools, internet research tools, and Google suite Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) tools such as Salesforce to manage client interactions and data effectively Ability to analyze data to assess account performance, customer behaviors, and opportunities Familiarity with agile project management principles Willingness and ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance and/or a positive suitability determination by completing necessary background check investigations to perform client work Willingness and ability to travel to client sites in the surrounding DC and Baltimore metro areas; occasional travel outside of these regions could be expected (5%) Critical thinking/problem-solving skills, attention to detail, organizational and time-management skills Strong business writing and verbal communication skills Flexible and adaptable mindset to operate effectively in ambiguous, fast-paced, high-stakes client environments Must be legally eligible to work in the United States, now and in the future, without the need for company (The Clearing) visa sponsorship now or in the future Desired skills, experiences, and certifications: change management, strategic planning, strategic communication, program management, and/or organizational design experience; PMP and/or Change Management certification (ex.: Prosci)

Compensation

The projected salary range for this position is between $131,815.00 and $210,905.00 annually. Actual compensation and starting salaries are determined based on various factors, including the education, experience, knowledge, skills, certifications, and clearance level of the candidate and internal equity. Once at The Clearing, movement through pay bands is based on performance. Base-annual salary is just one component of The Clearing's total compensation philosophy and approach. Physical and Mental Requirements

While performing duties of this job, an employee may be required to perform any, or all of the following: attend meetings in and out of the office, travel (sometimes extensively); occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand; communicate effectively (both orally and in writing); ability to effectively use computers and other electronic and standard office equipment; and occasionally exerting up to 10 pounds to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Work is primarily sedentary and involves sitting for several hours at a time. Occasionally walking, climbing stairs, and standing occur in this role. Additionally, this job requires certain mental demands, including the ability to use judgment, withstand moderate amounts of stress, and maintain attention to detail.
