About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a highly skilled, experienced Senior Cloud Engineer to join our Azure Cloud AI/ML & Middleware engineering team. This individual will primarily focus on the design, testing, documentation, and strategic planning of Azure AI/ML & Middleware Services across a large-scale organization. This role requires an unwavering focus to ensure that the Azure AI/ML & Middleware offerings needs of the business are met while adhering to highest standards of security and operational sustainability across multiple business units.
In this role, you will:
Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff
Required Qualifications:
4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
2+ years of proficiency in programming or scripting languages: Python, Bash, PowerShell, Golang, Java
Cloud Professional Experience in Azure, spanning network, security, applications, serverless, and containers, identity and access management, compute
Experience in infrastructure as code tools: Terraform, Terraform Enterprise and/or Cloud, Azure ARM.
Experience in Cloud AI/ML resources in Azure or AWS or GCP.
Desired Qualifications:
Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies and tools: JIRA, Confluence
CI/CD tools: Jenkins, Artifactory, SonarQube, Github Actions, CodeBuild/CodePipeline, or Azure DevOps.
Version Control: GitHub, GitLab, BitBucket
Working understanding of network protocols
Working knowledge of security best practices
Self-Starter with attention to detail, led by influence and able to prioritize to get things done.
Familiarity with containerization and orchestrations (e.g., Kubernetes/Docker/OpenShift/Helm)
Mentor and train fellow junior members.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
