Our work depends on TS/SCI cleared Sr. Hybrid Cloud Platform Engineer joining our team to support our intelligence customer in Springfield, VA or St. Louis, MO.

HOW A SR. HYBRID CLOUD PLATFORM ENGINEER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Job Description Summary: Work on a development team, utilizing Agile scrum methodology, which is responsible for developing and maintain agency wide Platform as a Service (PaaS) capability deployed across multiple security domains. The PaaS environment supports multiple tenants deploying a myriad application stacks and data services.

Specific Duties And Responsibilities: O&M of existing Red Hat OpenShift environment across multiple security domains in both Cloud and datacenter (vSphere) environments Support OpenShift operators and frameworks including Crossplane, Kyverno, RedHat GitOps Deploy OpenShift to new sites as they come online Work with internal and external teams to understand integration requirements and scale existing platforms to meet them Work with Security to ensure ongoing compliance and develop secure solutions Support data services including RabbitMQ, Redis, PostgreSQL, Elastic Stack Compile detailed documentation Education/Experience: WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Programming, Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline. 5+ years Developer experience Meet DoD 8570 IAT Level II requirements including one of the following: Security+ CE, CND, SSCP, GSEC, GICSP, CySA+, or CCNA Desired Skills:

Experience deploying and managing RedHat OpenShift in a cloud and/or vSphere environment Experience with Amazon Web Services Python, Shell scripting, Git (desired) Linux distributions: RHEL/RHCOS, CentOS CI/CD orchestration tools: GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitOps Container technology: Docker, Kubernetes, and Cloud Native Computing Foundation ecosystem in general Desired Certifications:

Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Location: Springfield, VA or St. Louis, MO

The likely salary range for this position is $97,258 - $131,584. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
