Overview:
Vaco is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to oversee and manage technology projects from initiation to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of IT processes, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget. This role involves coordinating cross-functional teams, managing stakeholder expectations, and ensuring effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities: Project Planning and Execution: Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders. Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. Execute projects according to plan, ensuring adherence to deadlines and quality standards.
Team Leadership: Lead and motivate project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive environment. Assign tasks and provide guidance and support to team members. Conduct regular team meetings to monitor progress and resolve any issues.
Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, including clients, team members, and upper management. Manage stakeholder expectations, ensuring that project goals align with business objectives. Provide regular updates on project status, risks, and opportunities.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them proactively. Monitor and manage project risks throughout the project lifecycle.
Quality Assurance: Ensure that all deliverables meet the required quality standards. Implement project management best practices and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, reports, and meeting notes. Prepare and present project reports and status updates to stakeholders and senior management.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred. Proven experience as an IT Project Manager, with a minimum of 5 years in managing technology projects. Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall). Experience with project management software tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA, Trello). Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification is a plus. Benefits:

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to:
the individual's skill sets, experience and training; licensure and certification requirements; office location and other geographic considerations; other business and organizational needs.
With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
