BACKGROUND: CUSD 200 is seeking a dynamic leader to fill the principal position at Pleasant Hill Elementary School for the 2025-26 school year. Pleasant Hill Elementary School will support approximately 575 students in grades K-5 for the 2025-2026 school year.

QUALIFIED CANDIDATE SHOULD: Hold a Current Illinois Professional Educator License with an Administrative Endorsement Have knowledge of the Illinois Learning Standards Be an instructional leader Possess excellent oral and written communication skills Have knowledge or experience related to Professional Learning Communities Demonstrate commitment to student achievement and school improvement Demonstrate a dedication to supporting students academically and socially Possess quality leadership skills Have an understanding of how to meet the needs of a diverse student population Have strong interpersonal skills Possess quality management and organizational skills Demonstrate an ongoing commitment to personal and professional development

DISTRICT 200: CUSD 200 is a public K-12 District located approximately 30 miles west of Chicago. The District is located in DuPage County and primarily serves the communities of Wheaton and Warrenville, as well as portions of Carol Stream, Winfield, West Chicago, and adjacent unincorporated areas. CUSD 200 has thirteen K-5 elementary schools, four middle schools (grade 6 to 8), two comprehensive high schools, and an early learning center.
