GXM is seeking to hire an experienced and talented Software Quality Assurance Engineer and Tester with a passion for high quality software development to join our Quality Assurance team. A candidate should have experience writing and executing test cases, detecting and reporting defects, and documenting test results. The Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer/Tester will work closely with development teams to ensure that software requirements are met on multiple projects. This position will allow the tester to expand their experiences in the latest technologies, as desired, including Docker, Kubernetes, Vault, Harbor, Cucumber, WebdriverIO, GitLab, and more. This is a senior role with a candidate with extensive experience in application and systems testing. Must have the ability to manage, mentor, and coach junior testers and provide guidance on best practices in software testing.

Duties include but are not limited to

Design, develop, modify, document, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on software requirements Perform manual functional testing to validate new features and identify defects Perform manual API testing to validate new endpoints and identify defects Conduct detailed analysis of test results found through manual testing and support the development team with the identification, escalation, and resolution of related risks and issues Utilize testing knowledge and experience to advise leadership on the progress of testing activities Work closely with technical leads and product owners to develop plans, schedules, and present time estimation for testing activities to be performed Update and maintain test specifications and test plans via source control software Configure, administer and troubleshoot software test environment Contribute in sprint planning, sprint review, backlog refinement, and retrospective meetings Ability to manage, mentor, and coach junior testers and provide guidance on best practices in software testing Requirements

MUST BE A US CITIZEN Top Secret SCI CI Poly Must be able to work on-site 5 days a week Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience 7+ years of experience as a manual QA Engineer or similar role Experience testing Web front end, APIs, and back end Experience working in an Agile environment Experience working in Linux/Unix environment Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail Proficiency with MS Office suite Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, or similar issue tracking systems Preferred But Not Required

CS degree (or similar), or related experience Experience with test case management software (TestRail, Zephyr, or similar) Test automation experience Knowledge of programming or scripting language used in test automation systems (JavaScript, Java, Python, etc.) Ability to write SQL queries Knowledge in web application UI models and how components interact via internet protocols (HTTP, SSL, Email, SOAP, XML, etc.) Experience in accessibility and accessibility standards, such as Section 508 Compliance and WCAG 2.0 AA
