Job Summary:
Filevine's Marketing team is seeking an experienced Event Manager to oversee event planning and management for our customer-focused events. This role will be focused on our large annual User Conference as well as our customer-focused field marketing events. Additionally this person may assist with trade shows and other internal and external events as needed. A successful candidate will be extremely organized and able to manage the logistics of multiple events in parallel. We are looking for someone that is creative, dependable, hard-working, and driven.
Responsibilities
Work in tandem with the Director of Events on strategy, goals, execution, reporting and ROI for all assigned events including LEX Summit (Filevine's annual user conference) and City Summit field marketing events. Collaborate with other events team members to ensure all Filevine events and sponsorships are an A+ experience. Orchestrate all logistics pre, during, and post assigned events including the management of all sponsors (if applicable), internal staff responsibilities, and vendor relationships. Lead the creation of event budgets and responsible for staying within approved budget parameters. Directly manage and collaborate with the third-party production crew to ensure the highest quality user experience for the entirety of each event. Manage all cross functional and external relationships with employees, sponsors, vendors, speakers, and venues to ensure seamless event execution. Work closely with the broader marketing team to communicate and execute effective marketing strategies for event promotion and registration. Including but not limited to email campaigns, social media campaigns, ticket contests, etc. Collaborate with the creative team and the Events Director to execute on-brand, high-end events including but not limited to design elements, swag, venue selection, etc. in different cities across N. America. Deliver on assigned event KPIs delivering high quality leads, upsells and generating pipeline, while maximizing the return on investment of each event. Travel is required for owned events and can be up to 20% of any given month. Qualifications
Minimum of 5+ years' experience with event planning and execution Bachelor's degree or relevant experience. Willing to work event hours which may include late hours or weekends as necessary for event production and execution. Highly organized and able to work in a fast and ever-changing environment Experienced in managing speakers for multi-track, multi-day events including pre, during, and post event communication and organization. Experience working hand-in-hand with third party production crew to ensure seamless and elevated user experience. Experience in the production of large events is a plus. Ability to multitask and work on more than one event at a time. Personable and professional in your communications and appearance as a spokesperson for Filevine Thrives outside of comfort zone and inspired to make connections with potential clients and vendors Strong communication skills, and the ability to present event ideas and plans to executives and vendors Salesforce and marketing project management knowledge is a plus
