Tetra Tech, Inc. is seeking a Mid-Level Project Manager/Environmental Scientist to join their Newark, DE or Blue Bell, PA office.

Your Role and Qualifications:

Will be responsible for managing large projects and supporting program/contract management, mentoring project and task managers, client service/account management, identifying and developing new business opportunities, and leading multi-disciplinary teams of scientists, analysts, and engineers.

5-10+ years' experience in environmental consulting, hazmat response, or related field required. Strong remediation/removal assessment management skills and emergency management awareness and the ability to respond quickly as a team within a mandatory response time required. Knowledge of federal and state regulations also required. Experience with remedial design, feasibility studies, hazardous waste, site investigations, site remediation, field sampling, air quality, ecological restoration, water resources desirable. Previous experience working on EPA projects a plus. Must be highly motivated, customer focused, and work well in a team environment. Must also have the ability to manage a heavy workload. Excellent communication, client interaction, and organizational skills, as well as proficiency with MS Office applications are required. Expertise in training curriculum development and implementation is also desired. Desired skills in the ideal candidate include but are not limited to:

Self-starter with strong organizational management, communication, and technical writing abilities. Analytical skills related to qualitative and quantitative data. Information and data analysis. Multi-tasking and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Education and Certifications:

A Bachelor's of Science Degree with a concentration in a physical science is required. OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER and FEMA ICS-100 and 200 a plus.

Work Environment:

The position's primary work environment is an office. The position will require occasional travel to client sites and other locations to conduct meetings, site visits, etc. Some occasional evening and/or weekend work and/or travel will be required.
