Senior Business Consultant Location : Remote Type : Full Time, Mid Level Department : IT
Our client is searching for a Senior Business Consultant with extensive expertise in financial management, cost accounting, MRP, project management, process modeling, and system implementation methodologies. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with discrete manufacturing consulting, particularly with the CloudSuite Industrial (SyteLine) platform.
Key Responsibilities
Project Implementation : Efficiently execute and implement project plans for client engagements. Client Engagement : Work closely with clients on-site to understand their needs and align solutions with business objectives. Documentation : Develop comprehensive documentation for client deliverables. End-User Training : Conduct training sessions to ensure effective use of the CloudSuite Industrial (SyteLine) system. Solution Recommendations : Analyze complex, tactical-level challenges and recommend solutions. Process Analysis : Conduct manufacturing-specific business process analysis and modeling. System Testing : Develop test plans and perform system testing to ensure reliability and performance. Progress Reporting : Provide status updates for internal and external stakeholders. Required Qualifications SyteLine Experience : Proficiency with SyteLine 8 or 9 required; experience with SyteLine 6 or older preferred. Travel Flexibility : Ability to travel domestically up to 25-50%, with occasional international travel. Analytical Skills : Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to assess and address complex issues. Communication : Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for clear, actionable recommendations. Solution Optimization : Proven ability to develop optimized solutions across client organization areas. Technical Proficiency : Familiarity with MS Project, Excel, Access, Oracle/SQL (beginner level), and general Microsoft Office. Supply Chain Knowledge : Deep understanding of supply chain forecasting, planning, and scheduling. Project Management : Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with high levels of self-motivation and a customer-focused attitude. Education : Bachelor's or Master's in MIS, Math, Operations Research, Engineering, Logistics, or a related analytical field. Experience : 15+ years of experience with the SyteLine product in manufacturing/distribution environments and in industries relevant to Infor's client base, such as logistics, forecasting, and scheduling. Certifications : APICS Certified (CPIM) preferred. Scheduling and Optimization Knowledge : Expertise in finite scheduling, simulation, or solver-based optimization, with a background in implementing forecasting, planning, and scheduling software.
