The Job:

The Restaurant Manager at the Beach Club plays a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of service that members expect from Noble House Hotels. This position involves supporting all restaurant functions, ensuring exceptional service delivery, and upholding LaPlaya Brand Standards. Food and Beverage Program Support:

Collaborate with Noble House Hotels to uphold the established food and beverage program, including wine and spirits. He/she will schedule monthly wine/spirit tastings for our members. Work with Club Director and Chef to coordinate wine and food pairing events. Staff Training:

Train staff on upselling techniques to enhance the elevated dining experience, with a particular emphasis on fine wines and craft cocktails. Vendor Relationships:

Build and maintain professional relationships with preferred beverage vendors approved by the company, ensuring access to quality products. Member Engagement:

Assist members and their guests with food and beverage enhancements. Coordinate wine, liquor, and beer programs for members, including thoughtfully curated pairings and special promotions to enhance their experience. Through these efforts, the Club Restaurant Manager ensures that every visit is memorable and aligned with the esteemed reputation of Noble House Hotels & Resorts.

Requirements

Essential Functions:

Oversee the day-to-day operations of Club services and team members Enforce resort standards, policies, and procedures with Club team Input and access information into P.O.S. system Direct performance of Club team Maintain knowledge of all menu items, portion sizes, sauces garnishes and prices Knowledge of all daily specials an 86'd items Knowledge of daily house count, arrivals/departures, and VIP member reservations Know scheduled in-house group activities, locations, and times Knowledge of all liquor brands, beers, and non-alcoholic selections available in the Club Establish par levels for supplies and equipment Requisition linens/skirting required for business and assign team to bring to the Club Meet with Culinary to review daily specials and 86'd items; ensuring staff is aware of changes/specials Periodically review updates on house count and arrivals Prepare weekly work schedules in accordance with labor forecasts and business levels Document any late or absence team members Assign work and side duties for team members and communicate additions or changes to assignments Monitor the preparation of station assignments Inspect grooming and attire of team members Ensure the cleanliness of all service areas Review the reservation book, pre-assign designated tables and follow up on all special requests Ensure that specified number of menus and wine lists are available and in good condition for each meal period Handle member opportunities on first impact and ensure that all members have an experience up to Noble House Hotels standards Ensure daily specials are inserted into each menu Access all functions of the P.O.S. system Ensure all closing duties for the team are completed before signing out Prepare and submit daily/weekly payroll and tip distribution records Document pertinent information in department logbook Conduct monthly wine and service training with team Conduct line-up with team before each service Attend mangers meetings as required Education & Experience:

3-5 years' experience in Restaurant Management 3 years' experience in Food & Beverage Experience in luxury hotels or fine dining Proficient in computer applications such as Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to satisfactorily communicate in English with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding Attend and participate in-services as required by federal, state, and company requirements Physical Demands:

Ability to stand for extended periods of time Ability to squat and bend Ability to work long hours as needed Ability to lift 25 lbs. Mental Demands:

Ability to communicate effectively with the public and other colleagues Impeccable work ethic and excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills Attention to detail Able to work independently and follow directives from leadership
