Role Description:

The Staff Accountant position is responsible for financial account analysis, month-end closing, research and reconciliation of material financial statement accounts, and recording monthly journal entries into the general ledger system with emphasis in use of Oracle and SAP applications. This role will ensure adequate internal controls, policies, and procedures are in place to ensure compliance. The position will require constant collaboration with team members and management with different departments throughout the Organization.

Role Responsibilities: Support period close activities and all internal/external financial audits Prepare standard journal entries monthly, in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and the Company's policies and practices. Content will typically relate to general and administrative accounting topics such as basic accruals for administrative spend, fixed assets, debt, employee benefits, etc. Prepare non-standard entries as directed by the Accounting Manager in accordance with GAAP and the Company's policies and practices to ensure accurate financial reporting Prepare account reconciliations for assigned balance sheet items including researching and resolving unreconciled amounts in a timely manner Interact within the finance teams and cross functionally to acquire the information necessary to complete the responsibilities of the role. Interface with management in various departments, including engineering, sales operations, IT and legal Assist and support special projects as assigned Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting 1-3 years' experience in and with general accounting or within a public accounting environment SAP or OneStream experience preferred Strong Excel and database skills Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills Team player and have ability to work independently Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to interact effectively with all levels throughout Company organization
