Job Description
Job Title: Structural Steel Erection Project Manager
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Structural Steel Erection Project Manager to oversee all aspects of structural steel erection projects. The ideal candidate will lead project planning, execution, and completion, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency throughout the process.
Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage structural steel erection projects from start to finish. Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring alignment with client expectations. Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to facilitate project execution. Monitor project progress, adjusting plans as necessary to meet deadlines and budgets. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and industry best practices. Conduct regular site inspections and meetings to assess progress and address any issues. Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders. Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports. Mentor and lead project teams, fostering a collaborative work environment. Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field. Minimum of 2 years of experience in project management, specifically in structural steel erection. Strong knowledge of structural steel design, fabrication, and erection processes. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite. OSHA certification and familiarity with AISC & safety regulations.
