We are looking for a Service Technician with a Class B CDL that is eager to learn and grow their career with Clean Earth. You'll be joining a team of dedicated professionals with the opportunity to learn the hazardous waste industry. Traveling to locations you will provide various support and services for our Health Care customers. In this physically active roll, you will regularly move over 50 pounds throughout the day. Working as a team or alone once fully trained you will provide record keeping and compliance as well as waste removal for our customers.
Primary Responsibilities (Essential Functions):
Service Health Care customers on a day to day basis Provide services related to maintaining hazardous waste storage areas in accordance with state and local regulations Relocate waste containers from satellite accumulation areas to main storage areas Travel between customer sites throughout the day Complete daily inspection logs Prepare hazardous waste manifests for shipment Load, secure, and transport hazardous waste shipments daily following State, DOT, and EPA regulations Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
Class B Commercial Drivers License High School Diploma or GED Able to pass a DOT physical, background check, and drug screening Preferred Qualifications:
Hazmat endorsement (candidates will be expected to obtain as a condition of employment after hire) Hazardous waste industry experience OHSA / RCRA / DOT regulations Hazwoper Certified Forklift Certified or 2+ years of experience Strong attention to detail and time management Additional Information
