Sr. Java/AWS Developer

LHH is looking for a Senior Java Developer to join our one of our feature teams in Richmond, VA for the design, development, and support our finance domains software applications. Individuals should have the ability to deliver assigned tasks that bring business value that corresponds directly to the team's roadmap and vision for their software solutions. This will be a 1 year project starting ASAP with a possibility of extension. This role will require 100% on-site at our client's headquarters in Richmond.
Responsibilities
- Ability to work independently with minimal help.
- Participate in the research and evaluation of alternative solutions to meet business needs.
- Adhere to established standards about coding, testing, and methodology; propose modifications where appropriate.
- Identify opportunities for efficiencies (e.g., reduce duplicate code, processes, etc.).
- Collaborate with other team members, technical resources, and business stakeholders to plan, design, develop, test, and maintain
business applications.
- Participate in ceremonies that enable efficient Agile development and delivery practices.
Qualification
* Bachelor's degree in computer science, technology or related field preferred.
* 5+ years' experience as a Java full-stack developer.
* Proficient in building full stack/enterprise software applications with.
* Proven experience with Agile software development methodology preferred.
* Demonstrates and ability to stay on top of the latest trends and technologies and identify opportunities for their use.
* Exposure working on accounts and finance domain including GL (General Ledger).
* Demonstrates integration with third party solution using REST APIs & SOAP.
* Experience in one or more of the following required:
- Technologies: (Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate), Cloud Technologies like AWS Kubernetes (preferably AWS).
- Experience working with Oracle databases including SQL, Stored Procedures, Views and Functions.
- Experience working with Python and python based libraries like Flask is plus.
- Hands on with Front end technologies like Angular 12+, Google Material, NodeJS, JSON.
- Hands on with Confluent kafka with event driven development patterns is plus.
- DevOps Tools & Methodology: SonarQube, Gitlab, Maven, Nexus & CICD.
- Experience using NetSuite APIs and dashboard is huge plus
Pay Details:
$65.00 to $85.00 per hour
