Candidates should be service-oriented, a team player, and be able to provide extraordinary care, every day to our patients.Responsibilities include: assisting in the Neurological health care and patient care management with McFarland Clinic's customer service standards. Additional duties include rooming patients and family of patients, taking vitals, making referrals, prior authorizations, give injections, make patient phone calls, medication refills, and assisting physicians with procedures, updating medical record in EMR, verifying and updating medication lists, pushing wheelchairs and assisting patients.EducationGraduate from an accredited program for Medical AssistantsGraduate of an accredited school of nursingCertification/LicenseCertification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or certification as a Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) from American Medical Technologists (AMT), NAHP, NCCT, NHAPossession of a State Licensed Practical Nurse license Possession of a State Registered Nurse licenseCurrent Basic Life Support Certification for Health care providers.Mandatory Reporting of Dependent Adult and Child AbuseDays: Monday - FridayHours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Experience1 year clinical experience preferred.Benefits McFarland Clinic offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health and dental insurance, 401(k), and PTO.
