Our cardiology teams provides for ongoing management for chronic heart conditions.SCHI offers patients the advanced, personalized care they need. We have a strong focus on prevention and patient education. SCHI offers a full-service cardiac rehabilitation program where patients can receive counseling on diet and nutrition, lifestyle, exercise, stress management and exercise in a safe and monitored environment following a cardiac event.STATUS: Full Time LOCATION: SCHI RGH Medical Office Building DEPARTMENT: CardiologySCHEDULE: Monday-Friday DaysATTRIBUTESMedical Assistant Certification or medical assistant experience preferredStrong customer service, computer, and communication skillsBilingual preferredRESPONSIBILITIES Patient Care & Physician Assistance. Room patients in a timely fashion, complete patient work-up, obtain vital signs, assist physicians with procedures; manage physician orders and complete appropriate forms/requests; report issues to a licensed staff member when necessaryMaintenance. Ensure treatment rooms are stocked as needed; update and maintain patients' e-recordCompliance. Adhere to required department and system protocols, HIPAA regulations and local, state and federal requirementsEDUCATION:LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS: PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.For disease specific care programs refer to the program specific requirements of the department for further specifications on experience and educational expectations, including continuing education requirements. PAY RANGE:$17.25 - $18.90CITY:RochesterPOSTAL CODE:14621The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components.
