The Account Management Government team is focused on expanding market penetration, products, and services within the federal government. The Account Manager serves as the primary business contact for Care.com's federal clients and consistently provide excellent client service to accounts, as well as represent client needs and goals within Care.com.What You'll Be Working On: Understand Care.com's capabilities and services and effectively communicate all offerings to the clientEnsure the renewal of existing clients, and cross-sell products by identifying additional needs within an existing client offering, where applicableWorking closely with the Client Success Team on launch of new clients, with the support of the product and service teamsCollaborate with the marketing team in the development of client-specific marketing & communication plans, as well as broad marketing strategies applicable across the portfolio.Develop and execute to a client activities calendar, including periodic, timely and seasonal communications, and other relationship-building activitiesFacilitate client utilization reporting via the HR DashboardDevelop a proactive client outreach cadence and conduct at minimum quarterly business reviews with all clientsManage all client communications, conflict resolution, and compliance on client deliverables and revenueReview all major deliverables (i.e. strategic brief, contracts and SLA's, launch materials, ongoing communications, etc.) to ensure quality standards and that client expectations are metWork closely with the product management/technology team to identify product enhancements that improve the user experience and client satisfaction and retentionEnsure that all processes and procedures are completed, quality standards are met, and that clients are profitableWhat You'll Need to Succeed:3-5+ years in a client-facing and/or customer service roleSome experience with the federal government is preferredProven client service abilities including maintaining and enhancing client relationshipsTechnical competence with an understanding of solutions delivered via web technologyDemonstrated ability to collaborate across functions (for ex., marketing, reporting, product, legal, finance) and work well in a team environmentDetail and customer service orientedMotivated, goal-oriented, persistent and a skilled negotiatorHigh level of initiative & ability to work autonomouslyExcellent written and oral communication skillsExcellent presentation skills and the ability to present to different audiences (agency leadership, employees, etc)Handle stressful situations and deadline pressures wellExtensive use of all MS suite of productsKnowledge of Salesforce.comDemonstrated sales and negotiation skills, preferably in a services-driven environmentExcellent interpersonal skills and communication skillsExcellent problem-solving capabilitiesExcellent organizational skillsPLEASE NOTE: At this time, Care does NOT hire in any of the following states: Alaska, Arkansas, California, Delaware, Hawaii, Iowa, Idaho, Maine, Minnesota, Mississippi, Montana, North Dakota, Nevada, Oregon, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Washington, West Virginia, Wyoming, Vermont.For a list of our Perks + Benefits, click here!Care.com supports diverse families and communities and seeks employees who are just as diverse. Actual salaries may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Care.com's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses and short- and long-term incentives.
