Shift: 1st Shift, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday
Training: 3 weeks onsite
Pay: $35.46 per hour
As a Workers' Compensation Claims Adjuster, you will be responsible for reviewing and processing Workers' Compensation claims, determining compensability for occupational injuries and illnesses, and authorizing benefit payments such as Temporary Total Disability, Permanent Disability, and Life Pension. You will also investigate claims, prepare subrogation and litigation cases, and collaborate with physicians, attorneys, and other stakeholders to manage complex, litigated claims.
Responsibilities:
Review Workers' Compensation claims and reports to determine compensability. Authorize and calculate benefit payments (Temporary Total Disability, Permanent Disability, Life Pension). Investigate claims from start to resolution. Explain benefits and legal rights to injured workers under Workers' Compensation laws. Prepare and manage subrogation and litigation cases, working with doctors and attorneys on complex litigated claims. Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years of experience in Workers' Compensation claims adjustment in the last 5 years. The base pay range above represents the low and high end of the base compensation range we reasonably expect to pay for this position.
