Devops Automation Engineer

Key Responsibilities Architect and implement large-scale Observability platforms to monitor and optimize system performance. Develop and maintain integrations and applications in distributed environments at scale. Utilize and enhance tools like Splunk, Prometheus, GitHub, Jenkins, and Artifactory to improve environment performance and stability. Design and implement systems with a focus on fault tolerance, scalability, and stability. Collaborate with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and Product teams to drive key initiatives. Establish and track Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and Service Level Indicators (SLIs) to ensure optimal service quality. Solve performance and stability issues using a variety of monitoring and debugging tools. Deploy and manage distributed applications on public or private cloud platforms (AWS, Azure). Promote a DevOps/SRE approach within the organization. Top Skills Required DevOps Tools: Chef/Ansible/SaltStack Git, Jenkins, RunDeck

Qualifications

Must Have: Education: B.S. in Computer Science or related technical field. Experience: 4-5+ years with production-level distributed applications in public/private cloud environments. Strong background in designing Observability platforms. Proficiency in building integrations for large-scale environments. Expertise in Kubernetes and Docker orchestration technologies. Experience in fault-tolerant system design and scalability. Knowledge in defining and measuring SLOs/SLIs. Familiarity with tools like Prometheus, Splunk, GitHub, and Jenkins.

Skills: Exceptional collaboration and communication. Analytical problem-solving for performance and stability issues.

Good to Have:

Knowledge of Observability tools: Grafana, Cortex, Tempo, Jaeger. Experience with Open Source projects, especially OpenTelemetry. Familiarity with cloud security and automation practices. Work Environment Collaborate with a diverse and distributed team. Drive organizational impact through technical direction and strategic contributions. \n
