Scope of role
The Regal Rexnord Digital Solutions PMO is looking to grow our team. We are a collaborative dynamic group supporting both Digital Transformation Teams and IT. We spend our days maturing our PMO Practice and supporting projects ranging from internal process improvements to large scale ERP Deployments.
This position is located at Regal Rexnord's downtown Milwaukee, WI site. They need to be located in the Greater Milwaukee Area and willing to be in the HQ Building 2-3 days per week. 100% on site is not required but face to face meetings will be important. Given some projects will be global, flexibility in working hours and some travel should be expected.
Key Responsibilities
Lead projects from planning to completion through the software development life cycle Determine and define project scope and objectives Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner Prepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirements Track project costs to meet budget Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan Act as primary interface regarding deliverables, changes, and sign-off on status and requirements Ensure project requirements are met, the scope is managed, and milestones deliverables are met Maintain visibility and facilitate timely discussions and decisions for project risks & issues Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement Execute any needed reporting at the project and portfolio level Ensure open communication amongst team members, eliciting transparency and cross-team coordination Work beyond their own projects and develop processes to benefit the full project portfolio Lead meetings between stakeholders, resources, manager and executives Coordinate changes with product owners and development teams for all systems in scope for the project Mentor and coach project managers and coordinators within the wider Digital Solutions PMO team PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline/equivalent 5-8 years of Project Management Experience Experience leading IT implementations/migrations is a must. Experience in both traditional waterfall as well as Agile methods Ability to work within cross functional & multiple location projects a must. Effective executor. Can get things done and can implement complex transformation programs in a global organization. Effective communicator. Demonstrates strong executive presence and the ability to interact with the Regal Leadership Team and outside partners - including the ability to be succinct and simplify/clarify digital-speak" in his/her communication style.
