In this role as MGT Project Manager the selected candidate works with internal groups and external customers to plan and execute complex field service outages!
How You’ll Make an Impact
Safety: Setthe example for the team and hold them accountable to safety standards,ensuring safety always as a top priority; Protect the Deck and live ZeroHarm! Mentor and train younger engineers.
Quality: Ensurethat the team understands and accepts the plan, and does not deviate fromthe plan without proper review; Document key findings to prevent them fromreoccurring.
CustomerService: Provide outstanding customer service by understanding thecustomer's expectations and requirements and strive to exceed them. Ensurethe team is focused on delivering customer satisfaction at all times whilecontinuing to build the relationship. Communicate with transparency.
Schedule: Insulateyour team from schedule pressure by setting the team up for success beforethe work starts. Ensure that the team has sufficient resources and time tocomplete their tasks to the required standard. Establish and maintainchain of command on the project sites.
Organization: Stayorganized by managing the: contract, schedule, vendors, project costs,accurately tracking and documenting delays, extra work, repairrecommendations, and customer exceptions, and submitting a daily statusreport (DSR) daily. Be responsible for completing event readiness &post-outage deliverables.
Operationalsupport of all MGT FS and Fleet needs. Implementation of outage lessonslearned through process improvements. TMS outage planning process, assistLTP in planning, maintain outage calendar, customer meeting support asnecessary.
What You Bring
Must have a High School Diploma or GED that can be verified; Bachelor's degree in related field preferred
Minimumof five years of experience as Field Service Engineer, Project Manager orTechnical Service Engineer; Candidates with more experience may beeligible for a more senior level position
Previoussite outage management experience in the Power Generation or Oil and GasIndustries is preferred (MGT experience is also preferred)
Abilityto understand and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentsand use of MS project to create and maintain critical path schedules
Abilityto manage large groups of people ~10 – 100 and multiple tasks at the sametime
Thisposition requires travel up to 70% of year
Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
