Our Sales Engineering organization is seeking an AI Specialist focused on Machine Learning and AI who can provide hands-on expertise and support while working with technical decision makers in the design and architecture of the AI solutions that utilize Snowflake as an AI platform. IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL GET TO:

Work with our sales teams to support our customers in initial adoption of our AI and ML features in a hands-on capacity. Be the technical expert in the room to present and position Snowflake's AI and ML features and value to technical stakeholders at Snowflake's customers. Publish thought leadership content(blog posts, presentations at conferences and events) to advance Snowflake's strategic initiatives around AI Help enable and uplevel other sales engineers and solution architects in AI and ML Collaborate closely with product to influence Snowflake's roadmaps based on customer feedback. Collaborate with the Global FCTO, sales and marketing teams on field effectiveness / competitiveness of sales campaigns and messaging. Influence, tailor and maintain Sales Engineering AI / ML selling assets, including customer presentations, demonstrations and customer stories. ON DAY ONE, WE WILL EXPECT YOU TO HAVE: Minimum 5 years of experience working with customers in a pre-sales or post-sales technical role involving AI/ML Familiarity with cloud native ML and AI tools such as Sagemaker, AzureML, VertexAI. Familiarity and associated knowledge of techniques(few shot prompt engineering, RAG, search and retrieval techniques etc) working with OSS or closed source LLM's to build GenAI based solutions or interactive chat applications. Familiarity with Python and popular third party packages(Pandas, Numpy, Tensorflow, sklearn, Pytorch, etc) Strong knowledge of data engineering tools and technologies(dbt, Airflow, Spark) Strong knowledge and experience working with SQL. Working knowledge of data engineering strategies(e.g. Data lake, warehouse, lakehouse, streaming) and associated tooling. Working knowledge of deep learning concepts, techniques, and tools(Pytorch, Tensorflow, etc). Strong presentation skills to both technical and executive audiences, whether impromptu on a whiteboard or using presentations and demos Bachelor's Degree required, Masters Degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or related fields, or equivalent experience preferred. BONUS POINTS FOR EXPERIENCE WITH THE FOLLOWING: Working knowledge of tools in the LLM ecosystem such as langchain, llama index, NeMo-Guard. Experience and understanding of large-scale infrastructure-as-a-service platforms (e.g. Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, GCP, etc.) 1+ years of practical Snowflake experience. Knowledge of and experience with large-scale database technology (e.g. Snowflake, Netezza, Exadata, Teradata, Greenplum, etc.)
