Assistant Project Manager

to support their expanding portfolio of work.

Job Description

Support Project Management : Assist in managing the daily operations of construction projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and coordination with subcontractors. Document Control : Maintain project documentation such as contracts, change orders, and progress reports, ensuring that records are updated and organized. Coordination : Serve as a point of contact between clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and the internal project team to streamline communication and resolve issues promptly. Cost Monitoring : Assist in managing and tracking project costs, ensuring adherence to budgets, and preparing reports on project performance. Site Visits : Regularly visit job sites to monitor progress, ensure quality control, and verify that safety regulations are being followed. Scheduling : Help develop project timelines and schedules, ensuring that milestones are met and any potential delays are addressed proactively. Risk Management : Identify and escalate any risks or issues that could affect the project timeline, budget, or quality, and assist in developing mitigation strategies. Reporting : Prepare weekly project reports and assist the Project Manager in presenting project updates to senior management and clients. The Successful Applicant

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field. 2+ years of experience in construction, preferably in project coordination or assistant project management. Familiarity with both commercial and residential construction processes is a plus. Proficient in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, or similar tools). Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working effectively with various stakeholders. Knowledge of local building codes and construction regulations in Connecticut. A team player with a proactive approach to problem-solving. What's on Offer
