Client is looking for an experienced ProjectManager to be part of the Treasury Invoice Processing Platform (IPP) team that will support the migration of the application to the cloud, and optimization thereafter. You will oversee the coordination of the technology implementation including project schedules, process documentation, project status reports, meeting documentation, project management plans and artifacts, and program level reporting. Project deliverables will have an expectation of high quality, and keeping the project within budget caps. You will report directly to the Senior Manager over IPP and will work with FRB agile teams to ensure adherence to SDLC, project management and system security standards.
Responsibilities
Provide project management support and monitoring for in scope projects, including the maintenance of project artifacts, status reports, schedules, issue escalation, and communications. Help implement high-level and detailed requirements. Produce program/portfolio reports, dashboards, and customer communications. Identify and define process deliverables and artifacts to become established standards. Maintain all process documentation observing defined procedures. Establish internal processes and standards (i.e., reporting processes, document repositories, information sharing). Perform project quality reviews and document lessons learned to inform process improvements or enhancements. Perform research (internal and external to Client System) on project management industry best practices and recommend process improvements. Develop project level Quality Management Plans and associated quality metrics. Establish priorities for personal and project team tasks. Assess project risks and determine mitigation strategies. Facilitate project meetings and provide weekly status updates to management. Maintain knowledge of new project methodologies and tools and an understanding of current and new technologies. Stay informed about District and System technology direction. Work with clients and all levels of management, peers, and organizations within Client System. Provide and deliver presentations to clients and Bank management. Analyze project issues, lead the project team to determine alternative solutions, and provide recommendations for resolution or escalate. Maintain awareness of other District projects to determine any integration or impact of inter-related projects. Monitor team member performance and provide input to periodic evaluations.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree with a major or specialized courses in: Computer Science or Management Information Systems, Program and Project Management, or equivalent experience. 5+ years of relevant work experience, including a combination of the following, experience in migrating applications to the cloud, developing a process to coordinate cloud cost, and developing dashboards to track cloud spending and cost savings. Certified Project Management Professional or equivalent experience/education. Proficient in Microsoft Project or similar project management tool. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and data accuracy. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and work processes in a timely fashion. Working knowledge of issue tracking and configuration management tools such as JIRA, Subversion. Experience with multiple teams of 8-10 technical people in a large-scale system development/integration project. Experience managing a web-based software development project applying Agile methodologies.
