Job Summary:
The Financial Analyst will be part of the US Tax Operations team, responsible for ensuring compliance with IRS regulations and managing reporting obligations for the firm's Wealth Management and Institutional clients.
The role includes maintaining cost basis records, providing Gain/Loss reporting for customer accounts, and ensuring the accuracy of regulatory reporting.
The position involves collaboration with cross-functional teams, handling queries, and supporting strategic platform initiatives.
Key Responsibilities: Handle Gain/Loss reporting and maintain cost basis records for Wealth Management customer accounts Collaborate with cross-organizational operations teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure accurate processing Reconcile discrepancies between processing systems and ensure regulatory reporting accuracy (e.g., cost basis and withholding) Assist with requirements gathering and testing for strategic platform initiatives Manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring adherence to tight operational and annual deadlines Provide support for tax-related inquiries and regulatory reporting tasks Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field, or equivalent experience in the financial industry Strong understanding of general accounting principles as applied to the financial industry Proficiency in database, spreadsheet applications, and data modeling, including Microsoft Excel, Access, and other Office applications Superior communication skills, both oral and written Excellent time management, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with financial industry processes and general process controls Familiarity with IRS regulations and tax-related reporting
