Job Description
Senior Project Manager - Commercial - Cranston, RI - Responsibilities
Manage multiple smaller projects at once, with a focus on ensuring that each project meets timelines, budget requirements, and quality expectations. Oversee all aspects of project delivery, including planning, procurement, coordination, and closeout. Act as the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and project teams, ensuring smooth communication and resolution of any issues. Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project outcomes. Review and approve project submittals, RFIs, change orders, and invoices. Ensure that all projects comply with safety standards and regulations, including OSHA and other relevant guidelines. Foster strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and subcontractors to promote long-term partnerships and future business opportunities. Mentor and guide junior project managers and staff, promoting professional development and a collaborative team environment. The Successful Applicant
Senior Project Manager - Commercial - Cranston, RI - Will have
5+ years
of experience in project management, with a proven track record of managing multiple smaller projects simultaneously. Strong background in
commercial and public sector construction projects
(no multifamily experience required). Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Experience with project scheduling, budgeting, and managing subcontractors and vendors. Strong knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and regulations. Proficient in project management software (e.g., Procore, Microsoft Project, etc.). Familiarity with both renovation and ground-up construction projects. Must be
commutable to Cranston, RI
and available to travel to project sites in
MA, RI, and CT
(primarily southern MA). Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required. What's on Offer
