POSITION SUMMARY
Provide business and administrative support to project management to facilitate the successful planning and coordination of activities on a designated project or group of projects. Assist PM in accomplishing goals and objectives within prescribed time frames and financial parameters.
What you’ll do:
Assist in plan and specification analysis in order to determine clear and consistent interpretations of construction documents.
Assist project management with planning work schedule and projecting manpower needs.
Assist in the coordination of project personnel activities to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget.
Advise project management of potential problems, work interferences, schedule difficulties, and the like. Assist in circumventing/resolving such problems as required.
Compose and/or edit letters, memos, reports, and procedures as required.
Oversee and/or process day-to-day administrative items (i.e., expense reports, supply requisitions, RFI's, submittals, shop drawings, procurement, quantity take-offs, etc.) per supervisors authorization.
Prepare special reports, studies, and statistical analysis per supervisors request. May require research, development and/or interpretation of data with little supervision or instruction.
Assist with monitoring subcontractors, project scheduling and cost control.
Assist with the research and preparation of field change requests to resolve design issues.
Participate in the continuous updating and accurate generation of as-built documents.
Attend project coordination and owner/contractor/architect/engineer meetings as required.
Assume a proactive approach to career development. Utilize available resources within Brandt as well as request alternative instruction to help achieve project manager status.
Perform additional assignments as requested/needed.

What you’ll need to be successful:
2+ years of construction management experience
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Outstanding organizational skills
Excellent MS Office skills and ability/desire to learn new software systems
Must be courteous, professional, diplomatic, and highly motivated
Employment is contingent upon satisfying all jobsite-specific access requirements, with no outstanding restrictions from any jobsite or from working with any of Brandt’s partnering General Contractors, Owners, Customers, etc.

4-yr mechanical or electrical engineering or construction science degree (or commensurate levels of technical training and related experience)
