The base salary range : $ 80,582 to $104,756
Job Summary
Lead the support of accounting for regulatory assets, liabilities, electric and gas commodities, and transmission and distribution revenue transactions including monitoring changes to accounting and rate-making regulations as mandated by the federal and state regulatory commissions.
Major Roles & Responsibilities Review and prepare complex specialized calculations supporting revenue and regulatory asset and liability accounting transactions and process such transactions. Review and draft summaries of commission decisions, identifying the financial impacts and implementation requirements. Assist the utility operating companies in responding to data requests, and preparing regulatory filings, including tariff filings as necessary. Participates in the month-end closing process. Provides data and analysis for internal and external financial requirements/requests in a timely manner, including regulatory support. Obtain in-depth working knowledge of the Company's financial data and knowledge of the business. Work collaboratively with others assuming informal and formal leadership roles as needed to share understanding and build consensus. Lead effort in achieving team and departmental goals. Manage projects or teams, including coordination of resources outside of own area. Job Requirements

Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to grasp new concepts quickly. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Strong financial accounting skills. Experience/Training:
At least 5 years of related work experience Detailed knowledge of GAAP is required, knowledge of IFRS and FERC Accounting requirements and utility industry practices is preferred Regulated industry experience is preferred. Advanced Excel skills and experience with SAP financial systems preferred Required Education:
Bachelor's degree required in a related analytic discipline including but not limited to Accounting, Finance, or Economics. Advanced degrees and financial professional certifications are desired but not required and may be used to complement years of work experience. Competencies
