Senior Financial Analyst - Coating Additives
POSITION OVERVIEW
This position is part of Milliken's Chemical Division Coating Additives business unit and reports directly to the Director, Finance & Strategy with a dotted line to the Vice President, Coating Additives. It is located in Westlake, OH.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The Senior Financial Analyst would be responsible for the following:
Financial ownership of a $100M+ global business Trusted advisor and thought partner to the Vice President, Coating Additives and leadership team members on all business matters (strategic and operating) Accountable for supporting the delivery of year-over-year top-line and bottom-line growth Accountable for supporting the return on investment for key growth investments Financial planning and analysis of the business's performance to identify and prioritize opportunities for improving revenue and earnings growth, cash flow, and investment returns Portfolio management (contract and pricing analysis, investment analysis, decision support and resource allocation) of existing product lines and potential strategic alternatives (e.g., new product lines, new/emerging markets, capital expenditures, acquisitions, alliances and ventures) Forecast business financial performance through an Integrated Business Planning process The Senior Financial Analyst will need to demonstrate ability to:
Build finance organization capability to drive short/long term performance and provide exceptional decision support Set high standards for individual and team performance Lead continuous improvement efforts to drive growth and support improved profitability. Inspire associates to focus on strategies, achieve goals Be able to deal with ambiguity and operate in an environment characterized by distributed responsibility Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, including, but not limited to Equal Employment Opportunity, workplace violence, drug-free workplace, workers compensation and other company policies designed to provide associates with a high-quality work environment Act with integrity, strong moral and business ethics and respect for the dignity of others QUALIFICATIONS - REQUIRED
Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance, or related field. CPA, CMA or MBA is preferred Industry experience of 5+ years Experience using data query tools such as SAP Analytics Cloud & Power BI Integrated Business Planning experience preferred SAP experience preferred - specifically SAP S/4 and IBP Attention to detail, accuracy, organization, and strong problem-solving skills Advanced excel skills and other Microsoft Office tools Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) experience The successful candidate will have strengths in the following:
