The

Process Engineering Manager

for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for the for Reagent Operations Process Engineering team of engineers and line support technicians. The site manufactures highly technical consumables essential to Beckman Coulter Diagnostics. As a Process Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for multiple filling lines, leading continuous improvement projects to improve equipment performance including TPM program, maximizing output, and reducing downtime. You will also be responsible for leading new equipment introduction, and recommending improvements designed to optimize our manufacturing processes.

This position is part of the Reagent Operations team in Chaska, MN, and will be an onsite role. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.

Your specific duties as a Process Engineering Manager will include: Process Optimization : Analyze and improve manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and lower costs while maintaining high-quality standards. Team Leadership : Manage, mentor, and develop a team of manufacturing engineers and technicians, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental and company goals. Project Management : Lead and manage engineering projects from concept through implementation, ensuring timely delivery within budget. Continuous Improvement : Implement Lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies to drive continuous improvement initiatives. Manage daily, weekly and monthly KPI reporting. Equipment Management : Oversee the selection, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment. Quality Assurance : Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to ensure all manufacturing processes comply with industry standards and regulations; lead risk mitigation, validation and design change processes in a regulated environment Cross-Functional Collaboration : Collaborate with other departments, including design, procurement, and production, to ensure seamless integration of new products and processes. The essential requirements of the job include:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Biomechanical Engineering) and 9+ years of relevant experience, or Master's Degree with 7+ years of relevant experience. Demonstrated ability to run site daily management meetings and set daily priorities Continuous improvement mindset. Demonstrated ability to provide constructive performance coaching to individual contributors and supervisors. It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

Basic DBS Tools experience, including all or some: TPM, SMED, Lean Conversions, 5S, Kaizen Basics, Problem Solving Process, Standard Work, Transactional Process Improvement, Value Stream Mapping and Daily Management. Strong teamwork, innovation, willing to take risks and comfortable with ambiguity
