We are seeking an experienced Scala and AWS Solution Architect with 5+ years of hands-on experience in designing and implementing large-scale, cloud-based solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the architecture, development, and deployment of complex systems using Scala and AWS, ensuring that the solutions are scalable, reliable, and aligned with business goals. 5+ years of experience in solution architecture, with a strong background in Scala and AWS. Extensive experience with AWS services, including but not limited to EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and VPC. In-depth knowledge of cloud-native architecture, microservices, and distributed systems. Strong expertise in designing and deploying scalable, secure cloud solutions on AWS. Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation. Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and automation tools. Proven experience in leading and mentoring technical teams. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design and architecture of cloud-based solutions using Scala and AWS services. Collaborate with stakeholders to define architecture strategies and ensure alignment with business objectives. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams. Design scalable, secure, and resilient architectures for enterprise applications. Implement best practices for cloud infrastructure, performance optimization, and cost management on AWS. Evaluate and recommend tools, frameworks, and cloud services to enhance development efficiency. Ensure architectural integrity, maintain technical standards, and document system architecture. Troubleshoot complex architectural issues and provide solutions in a timely manner. Oversee the end-to-end development and deployment of applications, ensuring high availability and security
