Civiltec is looking for a proposal writer to coordinate the full life cycle of proposals. This role will provide technical writing, editing, and formatting support to execute winning proposals in a fast pace environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in the A/E/C industry providing technical writing and editing of statements of qualifications.
This role will be based out of our Monrovia, CA office.
Proposal Writing/Editing Responsibilities:
Write, edit, and format persuasive proposals/statements of qualifications. Proofread copy for spelling and grammar, making appropriate changes. Responsible for accuracy and clarity of final copy. Ensure proposals and project deliverable content is consistent with company branding, culture, and goals. Provide support to project team members that may include writing, editing and formatting success stories, technical reports, and presentations. Develop other materials as required to promote company goals. Bachelor's Degree in English, Communications or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical writing and editing technical materials within the A/E/C industry. Work independently and with a team on multiple tasks under tight deadlines. Strong writing, grammar, editing, and quality assurance skills with attention to detail. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat. Knowledge of Deltek CRM is a plus.
