Role: AV Software Engineer. Location:

As an AV Software Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in the development, testing, and support of AV software, while also providing leadership in best practices and industry trends.
Working closely with the AV Architect, you'll be involved in all stages of the process, from requirements analysis to testing, installation, and support. Your expertise will be utilized to ensure that our systems meet high standards of performance, schedule, and budget targets. As our AV Software Engineer, you'll have an opportunity to lead the configuration management, version control, and archiving of application software, showcasing your ability to provide guidance and subject matter expertise.
Not only will you contribute to the technical aspect of our projects, but you'll also be an integral part of our team's growth, providing leadership and support to execute AV software best practices. Responsibilities: Demonstrated understanding of technologies/products such as Control Systems (Crestron and AMX), Audio DSP (Biamp, ClearOne, Symetrix, Shure), and Video Conferencing (Cisco, Polycom, MS Teams). Proven experience in Simpl Windows, NetLinx Studio, and Object-Oriented Software Development. Ability to author engineering documentation and provide guidance to ensure targets are met. Requirements: Minimum of five years of experience in AV software development. Progressive track record of increased responsibility in AV software development. Experience within the .NET Framework and additional experience in related roles is a plus. Preferred Qualifications: Certifications such as Crestron DMC-E, Crestron Certified Programmer, CTS-D, AMX Certified Programmer, and additional AV manufacturer certifications (e.g., Biamp, ClearOne, Polycom, Shure, etc.). Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis. Excellent communication and leadership skills to support the team and execute best practices.
