Job Description
Execute day to day activities of audit engagements of clients Identify and communicate accounting and auditing matters to managers and partners as well as manage assigned tasks Client interaction to ensure efficient information flows from client to auditing team Provide high quality, professional day to day expectations of audit engagements and projects in line with firm expectations Develop audit programs, working papers, and audit reports Assist in preparing risk assessments and annual audit plans for clients Help identify performance improvement opportunities for clients and communicate findings to client management. Help keep the team on task and work within set deadlines Prepare compiled, reviewed and audited work papers and financial statements Prepare and review client annual reviews, compilations, personal financial statements and preparation engagements Assist on consulting projects Qualifications to Apply:
Minimum of 3 years recent public audit & attestation experience. Bachelor's degree in Accounting from an accredited 4-year University. Strong knowledge and experience of audits Apply working knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and accounting procedures Licensed CPA or CPA candidate. Demonstrated supervisory experience Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and be a self-starter. Good communication and computer skills. Working knowledge of the following programs: Excel, Word, Tax Software, and Thomson Reuters Creative Solutions Suite (desired).
