Job Description
Primary Purpose
Responsible for transportation of eggs from various farming facilities to designated hatchery. Must be able to follow all DOT and company requirements to ensure safe transport of product. Ability to understand oral and written instruction, as well as efficiently perform simple tasks.
Major Duties & Responsibilities Must be able to operate the tractor trailer in a safe manner taking into consideration safe transport of product as well as being mindful of all personnel/objects around the area. Ability to follow all animal welfare and company protocol. Must perform DOT safety and maintenance inspections pre and post trip. Ability to understand oral and written instruction, as well as efficiently perform simple tasks. Follow all company safety policies, S.O.P. regulations, as well as support Goal Zero mission statement.
Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent. 2 years of CDL Class A driving experience with Commercial Motor Vehicles. Must possess a valid CDL Class A license. Must be able to lift 25 lbs. Must be able to meet all DOT requirements.
