Job Description
We are proud to be partnered with Commercial General Contractor on the lookout for a
Project Manager
to lead the safety, quality, execution, and financial success of construction projects, from the budget phase through to project closeout. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in leadership, safety management, quality control, and client relationship management
Primary Responsibilities: Collaborate with the Preconstruction team to define project scope, prepare estimates, and manage procurement. Work closely with Field Supervision and Project Management teams to prioritize tasks and ensure every project meets safety and quality standards. Build and maintain client relationships by addressing and exceeding their expectations. Prepare project estimates, conduct value engineering, and manage budget development. Lead the subcontractor bidding process, ensuring all documentation is properly distributed, processed, and tracked. Use project management software to process, organize, and maintain project documentation. Negotiate and manage contracts for subcontractors and materials procurement. Develop project schedules and oversee timelines. Coordinate ongoing projects, including subcontractor management, conflict resolution, and documentation maintenance. Monitor and control project costs by evaluating labor, materials, and equipment; regularly forecast and assess costs, risks, and profitability through project completion. Ensure smooth project closeout procedures. Effectively manage projects with budgets of $15 million or more. Leadership & Business Development:
Lead by building strong relationships, motivating the team, providing clear guidance, and encouraging teamwork. Communicate clearly and effectively in both written and verbal formats. Mentor and provide training to junior team members. Engage with clients and prospects to explore and pursue new business opportunities. Participate in client presentations and project interviews. Negotiate contracts and secure new projects. Position Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Construction or a related technical field At least 5 years of relevant experience Experience in sectors such as healthcare, education, industrial, and manufacturing --
preferably healthcare Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
