What You Will Do
Reporting to Senior Finance leadership with a dotted line to our Vice President of Sales Operations, Group Benefits Division, we'll count on you to:
Deliver Actionable Insights : Proactively analyze sales, pipeline, and financial data to identify trends, uncover opportunities, and provide strategic recommendations that drive business decisions. Drive Sales and Pipeline Reporting : Deliver actionable insights and inform decision making by designing and managing advanced reporting solutions using Power BI and Microsoft Dynamics. Optimize Budget Utilization : Lead the Group Benefits Division annual budgeting process and quarterly forecasts, ensuring alignment with business objectives and accurate financial modeling. Develop budget and projection reporting processes to maximize resource allocation. Prepare and Present Monthly Reports:
Generate divisional financial, sales, and operational reports, highlighting key performance indicators and actionable insights. Analyze and Interpret Data : Conduct in-depth analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and scenario modeling to support Divisional strategic initiatives and decision-making. Translate complex data into strategic insights, preparing impactful presentations for C-level executives and board meetings. Improve Processes:
Identify opportunities for improving financial and KPI reporting processes, systems, and reporting tools. Collaborate cross functionally with sales, operations and IT teams to drive successful project execution. Present to Senior Leadership : Compile and present data to sales leaders and executives, highlighting trends, performance outcomes, and actionable strategies. What We Need From You
We're looking for a dynamic leader with strong analytical abilities who can seamlessly blend technical skills with strategic thinking, bringing:
Education : A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related discipline. A master's degree (MBA) or relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Business Analysis Professional, Power BI certifications) is preferred. Work Experience : 6-8+ years of experience in FP&A, sales operations, business analytics, or a similar role, with a focus on data-driven decision-making and cross-functional project leadership. Expertise in Power BI & Microsoft Dynamics : Proven experience in building and managing dashboards and reports, with a solid grasp of sales metrics. Expertise in Microsoft Excel : Ability to utilize Excel for complex financial modeling and ad hoc data analysis. Advanced skills including VBA and Power Query preferred. Data-Driven Mindset : A track record of transforming data into business insights that support sales and operational objectives. Excellent Communication Skills : The ability to present complex information clearly to diverse stakeholders, including senior leaders and board members. Sales Operations Knowledge : A deep understanding of sales processes and pipeline management, with the ability to guide sales strategies through data insights. What We Will Provide You
