Salary: $90000 - $100000 per Year
Job Responsibilities:
Team Management: Monitor and manage performance, addressing feedback, and holding regular staff meetings. Conduct regular "One-On-Ones" with team members to maintain open communication on performance. Lead hiring and recruiting processes, and conduct ongoing employee training. Develop and manage staffing levels to meet operational needs, including cross-training. Ensure safety compliance and proper equipment handling, training employees on all safety standards. Maintain compliance with employment laws and company policies. Keep accurate, up-to-date records on financial, operational, and employee performance. Business Management & Financial Success:
Establish and track store sales and profitability goals, creating budgets and monitoring outcomes. Implement strategies to achieve e-commerce goals, support customer needs, and increase online sales. Collaborate with Territory Managers on customer buying trends and product demands. Oversee local discounting, quoting, and inventory management, ensuring product availability and accuracy. Monitor warehouse and delivery operations, ensuring efficient and timely order fulfillment. Manage store operational costs to maximize profitability. Ensure store assets are maintained, secure, and up-to-date. Customer Sales & Service:
Ensure high standards of customer service at all touchpoints, supporting both in-person and phone interactions. Supervise counter sales, training employees on add-on and suggestive selling techniques. Collaborate with sales teams to implement promotions and support key customer accounts. Maintain clean, well-merchandised, and customer-ready showroom and warehouse environments. Education and Experience:
Required:
High School Diploma or GED; 2+ years of experience in store management/operations within a wholesale environment. Preferred:
College degree in business or a related field, and experience in HVACR or similar industries. Strong leadership skills with a background in recruiting, coaching, and evaluating teams. Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills. Ability to manage financial performance, including budgets, profit/loss, and sales strategies. Proficient in wholesale distribution operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and merchandising.
