Oakton Animal Hospital, Elk Grove Village, Illinois, us, 60009

Practice

Oakton Animal Hospital is a full-service animal hospital that welcomes emergency treatment cases and pet patients needing routine medical, surgical, and dental care.

Our hospital is accredited by the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA). This professional organization requires that our hospital meet the highest standards of excellence for the practice of veterinary medicine. It also requires that our hospital be inspected periodically in order to maintain our accreditation.

Position Purpose

We are eager to add another veterinarian to our small animal practice!

We are currently a two-doctor practice that has been helping our community for over 30 years.

Our doctors are supported by multiple technicians and assistants, many who have been alongside our DVMs for many years. We provide each other with a relaxed yet professional work environment and operate like a family.

Our practice currently treats cats and dogs but we would be willing to see other types of pets if our new DVM was open to it. Our ideal DVM would also have a couple years of experience, showing confidence in preventative care, simple eye/ear/sick appointments, and would want to be involved in basic soft tissue surgeries. Our strong team is poised for growth and in order to seize our practices full potential we welcome any DVM ready to hit the ground running!

We welcome DVMs of all experience levels to apply! Our practice would serve as a great opportunity for

new graduates, associate veterinarians, or someone looking to step into an MDVM role.
