WHAT YOU WILL DO

The

Senior Director of Insights and Analytics

will lead the strategy, development, and execution of data-driven insights and analytics to drive the growth and success across a portfolio of confection brands. This role requires a visionary leader with a proven track record in leveraging data to inform business decisions, uncover growth opportunities, and enhance consumer and customer engagement. The Senior Director will partner with cross-functional teams, including Marketing and Innovation, Sales, RGM and Trade Marketing to provide actionable insights that align with the company's strategic goals. Reporting to this role is Consumer and Marketing Insights, Business Intelligence and Category Management. Strategic Leadership • Define and implement the company's insights and analytics strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives. • Lead a high-performing team of analysts, researchers, and data scientists. • Champion a culture of data-driven decision-making across the organization. • Stay ahead of industry trends, tools, and technologies to maintain a competitive edge in analytics practices. Consumer and Market Insights • Develop a deep understanding of consumer behavior, market trends, and competitive dynamics. • Oversee the design and execution of qualitative and quantitative research to uncover key consumer insights. • Translate data into actionable strategies to optimize product development, marketing campaigns, and customer experiences. Business Analytics and Performance Measurement • Build and manage dashboards, reports, and KPIs to measure business performance leveraging the Commercial data lake and global dashboards. • Lead analytics initiatives to assess campaign effectiveness, sales performance, and ROI. • Identify growth opportunities through advanced modeling, segmentation, and predictive analytics. Category Management and Customer Success Impact • Build capability to bring category strategies and category vison to life with retailers. • Ensure best in class selling stories to support brand and marketing initiatives. • Support annual business planning by informing portfolio choices and business goals leveraging category management principles. Collaboration and Stakeholder Management • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership by providing insights that inform strategic decision-making. • Collaborate with IT and data teams to ensure data integrity, accessibility, and integration. • Present insights and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear, compelling manner. Administrative • Manage a large set of data providers and vendors and ensure effective and optimized resource allocation and investment. • Accountable for global reporting and data governance of local commercial data and business results. • Manage a team of 10-15 associates.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

Bachelor's degree in Business, Statistics, Marketing, Economics, or a related field (Master's or MBA preferred). 10+ years of experience in analytics, insights, traditional marketing research or a related field ideally within CPG, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Proven success in the consumer goods industry or a related sector. Experience with advanced analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Python, R) and methodologies. Strong track record of influencing business outcomes through actionable insights. Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills. Expertise in both primary and secondary research methodologies. Strong leadership and team development capabilities. Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical audiences. Familiarity with data governance and ethical use of consumer data. Limited travel domestically. One international trip per year likely. WHAT WE OFFER
