Minimum Qualifications

3 years of experience in risk management, reporting, or a relevant role

Understanding of consumer credit risk trends

Ability to analyze quantitative and qualitative information and translate into strategic deliverables

Bachelor’s degree in finance, math, computer science, a related field, or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications

5 years of experience in the mortgage or financial services industry

Advanced knowledge of SQL skills

Advanced knowledge of Excel modeling

Job Summary

As a Capital Markets Credit Risk Analyst, you’ll have the primary responsibility for developing a risk framework that will provide visibility on the credit risk exposure of our mortgage servicing portfolio. You’ll develop the tools and analytic data sets that will enable the Capital Markets team to make informed strategic decisions related to the risk of the mortgage servicing asset.

Responsibilities

Develop driver-based credit risk analytics that provide a dynamic framework for credit risk decision making

Analyze and summarize mortgage performance data

Identify trends and concerns, and recommend actions as necessary

Work cross-functionally with a variety of business units to collaborate on strategic and credit risk initiatives

Collaborate with Data Science teams to develop Credit Risk Models for use in asset pricing and strategic portfolio decisions.

Research and work with large third-party data sets to build market based comparative risk analytics
