Job Description
This role will collaboratively support a global strategic objective to harmonize the end-to-end Microsoft lifecycle and environment spanning the enterprise.
Primary activities/responsibilities
Implement and manage security solutions for Microsoft environments. Focus on enhancing the end user experience across secure solution architectures. Deploy tailored M365 Compliance configurations with Purview Information Protection, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), data lifecycle management, and records management. Implement and manage Azure data governance solutions. Collaborate with IT and security teams to ensure compliance with security policies. Conduct security audits and assessments. Provide technical support and guidance on security matters. Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and guidelines. Stay current with emerging security threats and technologies.
QUALIFICATIONS
Basic Qualifications
5+ years of experience in end-user device engineering. Professional Certifications desired (Microsoft Modern Desktop Administrator, MSCE, AWS Solutions Architect, Network+, A+, etc.). Experience deploying and administrating virtual desktop solutions, including Microsoft Windows 365, Microsoft AVD, Amazon Workspaces, Hyper-V, and VMWare. Experience as a Microsoft Security Engineer or in a similar role. Proficiency in Microsoft security technologies and tools, including Purview Information Protection, DLP, data lifecycle management, records management, and Azure data governance. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong understanding of security best practices and regulatory requirements. Experience with security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls.
