POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to help manage and drive our financial operations with a focus on product revenue, inventory management, and complex accounting processes. This position will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing strategic insights through financial analysis. This is a hybrid position, located in Bridgewater, NJ with a minimum of three days in the office each week.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements Assist with the development and management of standard costing for inventory valuation Oversee intercompany transactions and reconciliation across business units Manage state sales tax compliance, collection, reconciliation and remittance processes Preparation and/or review of journal entries and reconciliations Prepare monthly financial reporting package, including detailed variance analysis Update weekly cash inflows/outflows and reconcile bank/general ledger Document and manage process maps for all procedures and processes impacting accounting operations Assist with general ledger migration to ERP system Assist with year-end audits Special projects and ad-hoc projects requests, as needed EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
8+ years of combined public and private accounting experience required, including experience managing day to day accounting operations Bachelor's degree in accounting from an accredited university CPA License required Thorough understanding of US GAAP, particularly ASC606 revenue recognition Strong computer skills, including advanced knowledge of Excel Experience in ERP system implementation preferred but not required Proficient in problem-solving, with strong analytical ability to interpret, challenge and interrogate financial systems with significant amounts of data Experience in NetSuite a plus Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities Some travel may be needed - up to 15%
