Assistant Restaurant Manager
The Assistant Restaurant Manager will oversee proper training and supervision of all restaurant personnel, to deliver prompt, courteous service in a manner that complies with Omni Food and Beverage standards and company policies and procedures in all areas of operations related to guest service experience for all Outlets (includes full service Restaurant, Room Services, Bar, Refreshment Centers, and Morsel's (cyber cafe)).
Responsibilities Supervise operations at all hotel outlets, including hotel's full-service Restaurant, Room Services, lobby Bar, Refreshment Centers, and Morsel's (cyber cafe). Monitor and control productivity of all Outlets (includes Restaurant, Room Service, Bar, Mini Bar & Gift Shop). Complete environmental checklist for dining room. Spot check liquor pars. Complete inventory process and ordering necessary items and supplies utilizing BirchStreet. Lead daily pre-shift meetings with service staff for all shifts. Oversee training and ensure that service personnel follow designated service scenarios. Monitor and critique the quality and consistency of the food product, examine food preparation and beverage presentation to ensure quality standards are met; Monitor food waste. Oversee team to ensure cleanliness and adherence to health code standards and the Dram Shop Act - Prohibiting the sale/service of alcohol to intoxicated guests. Handle guest comments and complaints to ensure guest satisfaction. Communicate with guests and receive feedback. Monitor associate performance and assist as needed as well as guest experience. Oversee payroll processing, employee scheduling, inventory ordering, and daily reporting. Actively monitor labor and payroll expenses to ensure alignment with budgetary goals. Implement strategic scheduling practices to meet business demands effectively. Maintain comprehensive records of staff punctuality and performance. Complete required MOS audits. Qualifications
Ideal candidate must have at least 1 year of experience as an F&B Supervisor in a 4-diamond hotel, high school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree preferred. Individual must be able to work in fast-paced environment and multitask. Proven effective leader and ability to delegate. Able to train, develop, and lead a team to success. Computer literate and detail-oriented a must, basic mathematical skills, and ability to create and understand financial reports. Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as organizational skills. Flexible schedule
