They will manage geospatial elements, or relevant tasks of various projects involving SUE, Survey, Broadband, or Utility Coordination. It is anticipated that work will mostly involve public and private utilities. The successful candidate will use their skill and experience to improve efficiency of existing projects and develop new business opportunities

QUALIFICATIONS

The successful candidate's most important qualifications include the following.

Recent and relative experience in SUE, Survey, UC and Broadband projects. Knowledge and understanding of ASCE SUE standards. Knowledge of Utility Accommodation Rules in Texas is also a benefit. Recent experience using geospatial tools to capture, categorize and represent utility data is GIS based platforms. Strong understanding of and experience with creating and managing web-based GIS through Esri and/or other web-based GIS software such as OSPInsight, 3GIS, Cartegraph or similar. Experience using the above tools for inventory analysis and asset management. Experience working on projects that involve 3D mapping (of utilities in particular) Experience of projects using unmanned aerial vehicles to gather data using aerial imagery and LiDAR. Experience working with plan and profile construction drawings associated with roadway and underground utility improvements within public rights-of-way, records research and permitting. Knowledge of Trimble Business Centre and Trimble Access. Knowledge of AutoCAD, MicroStation, including Geopak and Axiom, and other relevant engineering and administrative software. Develop relationships with clients, partners, and local organizations to remain a trusted resource in the community. Use geospatial knowledge to add value to existing service lines. Use geospatial skills and experience to develop standalone GIS projects. Use of GIS tools to assist in identifying opportunities for funding and grants. Ability to work with processed survey data files and communicate issues with Registered Professional Land Surveyors. Manage office and field staff schedules to meet client deadlines. Ability to receive, assess, and respond to calls from the field supervisor outside of normal office hours. Perform and submit monthly project invoicing (reviews and approvals). Write invoice progress reports. Perform independent research and delegate changing priorities. Work with minimal supervision and deliver accurate work product. Adhere to CobbFendley's safety standards to uphold a safe and efficient environment. Maintain a professional attitude and fulfill responsibilities with integrity. ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS

Work Environment.

Most work is performed in a professional office environment. Some trips to client offices and outdoor environments for observations will be required. Office Conditions.

Includes extensive use of electronic devices such as computers, printers, copiers, scanners, plotters, and telephones. Additionally, tasks may involve the use of cutting tools and equipment like rotary paper cutters and plotting devices. Outdoor Conditions.

Includes walking and climbing on uneven surfaces, exposure to extreme weather conditions (heat and freezing temperatures), noise, and exposure to allergens (e.g., pollen, dust, cedar, sumac, poison ivy). Safety and Equipment Use.

Regular use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required, along with handling electric power tools, cutting tools, plotting equipment, rotary paper cutter, and other equipment. Driving and Vehicle Use.

May involve driving large pick-up trucks with attached trailers, potentially operating watercraft, and for extended periods of time. Noise and Allergens.

Potential exposure to high noise levels and various allergens, including poison ivy, sumac, dust, pollen, and cedar. Wildlife Hazards.

Potential exposure to wildlife hazards such as animals, insects, and plants. EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM CST/local time zone.

This position may include the need for overtime hours.
