We are seeking an experienced Client Account Revenue Advisor to oversee revenue operations for our Global Private Funds clients and matters. The Client Account Revenue Advisor in the Global Revenue Team plays a crucial role in driving the financial operations efforts of the firm's Global Private Funds practice group. This position is responsible for tracking active matters for the funds partners and driving efficient revenue operations within the practice group.
Responsibilities
Project Management: Track and monitor active matters and engagements for Global Private Funds partners. Plan, coordinate, oversee, and execute on projects related to fund operations, client matters and revenue. Operational Efficiency & Financial Oversight: Collaborate with attorneys and other departments to streamline processes, provide insights to improve operational efficiency, and liaise with Global Client and Practice Group Reporting Team and Legal Project Management, as needed. Activities include monitoring practice group revenue, budgets, accrual deadline tracking, ebilling rejection reporting, performance metrics, identifying solutions, and collaborating with finance and accounting teams as needed. Work with clients to obtain client Matter IDs and any other key matter information to facilitate efficient billing and collections. Budget/Billing Support: Regularly monitor and track budgets to ensure they remain in line with spend and proactively communicate with partners if we are nearing approved budget amounts. Provide support to the Global Revenue Team in the form of diary monitoring and analysis. Matter Monitoring: Regularly track and report on the progress of Global Private Funds matters, ensuring that they are in line with firm best practices and client requirements, identifying any deviations and planning and executing on corrective actions, as necessary. Reporting and Analysis: In collaboration with the Global Client and Practice Group Reporting Team and Global Revenue Operations, prepare regular reports and analysis on matter performance and client-specific requirements. Client Engagement: Regularly attend meetings with client account team on key Global Private Funds clients to establish relationships and help ensure we are billing and collecting in accordance with our client agreements. Discuss any issues that are delaying invoice approvals or payments, as required. Work with the Global Private Funds team on any client-feedback to provide training or guidance to improve compliance and build trust. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with attorneys, Global Revenue Team, relevant professional staff, client contacts, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality services and meet practice group and client deliverables. Coordinate with Global Revenue Team to build and provide training for Global Private Funds partners and timekeepers on client requirements/billing compliance. Best Practices Initiatives: Participate in the development and implementation of best practices, tools, and processes that enhance the efficiency and quality of the Global Private Funds practice group. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to optimize fund operations and client satisfaction. Special projects, as assigned. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree 5+ years of experience in billing, accounting, financial operations, or project management within a legal or professional services/investment management sector environment. Proven track record of managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders and deadlines. Strong Excel skills as well as ability to navigate Microsoft Word and PowerPoint/Office Suite. Experience with Aderant is a plus. Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client service-oriented approach and ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively with clients and internal teams. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make informed recommendations. Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information appropriately. Detail-oriented, strong client service skills, ability to investigate issues and errors, as well as strong interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, consensus-driven, partnership environment with highly skilled professionals.
The estimated base salary for this position is $130,000- $145,000 at the time of posting. The actual salary offered will depend on a variety of job-related factors, including skills, education, training, credentials, experience, scope and complexity of role responsibilities, geographic location, and performance.
