About Our Client
Our client is a $500M a year contractor that has more than 200 employees across the Midwest. Founded over 50 years ago they do work on a variety of projects within the healthcare, multifamily, commercial and industrial markets. They offer a variety of services including development, general contracting design build, and consulting. They love to grow people from within and are looking for an established Senior Project Manager with established connections in the Indianapolis market to join the team and help build out this new market. In this role, you will have the autonomy to build your own schedule, on board a team and eventually grow into a Vice President role.
Job Description
The Senior Project Manager will:
Responsible for managerial and administrative aspects of a project including; estimating, scheduling, quality control, progress reports, progress billing, design review and coordination, cost reporting, safety, and proposal preparation Ensure an accurate and complete project estimate Work closely with owners and the design team to develop preliminary concept drawings Participate in the proposal meeting with the owner to review the scope of work, discuss ways to reduce costs, and provide value engineering ideas Oversee the buyout process and the selection of subcontractors Conduct bi-weekly job site meetings on site Make sound decisions under tight deadlines Organize, plan, and manage multiple activities to accomplish desired results Commit to quality by evaluating project-related processes Make necessary changes, use customer input to make improvements, and meet/exceed internal and external client expectations Act in a manner of integrity that shows support for the company, its values, and other associates while maintaining a constant focus on meeting/exceeding customer requirements and expectations MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. The Successful Applicant
The Ideal Senior Project Manager:
10+ years of previous experience working with a General Contractor Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or a related field Experience in design/build is a must Experience working with software and technology Strong Communication and Organization Skills Must have established relationships with subcontractors throughout Indianapolis Ability to on board and build out a team Strong client relationship skills Time Management Skills Up to date on the Construction Market and the newest technology What's on Offer
Base salary starting at $130,000 + depending on level of experience Family oriented culture Solid leadership out of top general contractors Hands off management approach Great relationships with subcontractors A competitive base salary (Depending on Experience) Competitive bonus structure, project/profit based - Typically upwards of 30% base salary Medical insurance including dental and vision (100% coverage for individual and dependents) Gas card WFH flexibility Company profit sharing Robust career advancement opportunity 15 PTO Days
