Lead Data Scientist Houston (4 days a week in the office - 1 from home) up to $220,000 20% Bonus Company: As a Lead Data Scientist, you will be joining an innovative organization working on a number of digital transformations through advanced modeling and algorithm development to tackle complex business challenges. The ideal candidates excel in operations research, optimization techniques (e.g., linear, integer, dynamic programming), and simulation modeling, with strong analytical and problem-solving expertise. Role: Translate business needs into analytics solutions, providing actionable insights and supporting data-driven decisions. Lead and guide teams in designing, developing, and operationalizing data science models to solve complex challenges. Communicate data insights effectively to stakeholders, fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making and innovation. Ensure models and analytics are integrated into business processes, maintained, and refined post-launch for continuous value. Drive Data Science strategy, including talent development, technology adoption, and alignment with business goals. Requirements: You need to have a MSc or PhD level in Stem subject. Skilled in building large-scale optimization models using techniques like Linear Programming, Mixed Integer Programming, heuristics, and tools such as CPLEX or Gurobi. Proficiency in Python, C++, and automation, with expertise in data analysis, statistical methods, and mathematical modeling for supply chains. Experience integrating Machine Learning into decision-support systems and applying advanced Operations Research methods. Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a proven ability to deliver data-driven solutions and engage diverse stakeholders.
