Position Overview:
The Assistant to the CEO plays a crucial role in supporting the Chief Executive Officer by managing day-to-day operations, streamlining communication, and ensuring the smooth execution of strategic initiatives. This individual will act as a trusted partner, providing administrative and operational support while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
- Executive Support:
- Manage the CEO's calendar, including scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
- Prepare and organize materials for meetings, presentations, and reports.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between the CEO and internal/external stakeholders.
- Communication Management:
- Draft, review, and distribute correspondence on behalf of the CEO.
- Facilitate effective communication within the executive team and across departments.
- Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Hospitality Operations Assistance:
- Coordinate with department heads to ensure timely updates on operational initiatives.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide updates to the CEO.
- Assist in organizing hospitality-related events, conferences, and special projects.
- Project Management:
- Assist in planning and executing strategic projects and initiatives.
- Track deadlines and ensure deliverables are met across departments.
- Conduct research and analysis to support decision-making.
- Administrative Tasks:
- Maintain accurate records, including expense reports, contracts, and meeting minutes.
- Organize and oversee filing systems for digital and physical documents.
- Handle additional administrative duties as required.
Qualifications and Skills:
- 3+ years of experience in an executive support role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, project management tools, and CRM systems.
- High level of discretion, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Knowledge of hospitality operations and industry trends is a plus.
