The Veterans Health Care System of the Ozarks, in Joplin, MO, is seeking a full-time, Primary Care Physician . Ideal candidate would be board certified/eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine with extensive women s health experience. We are fully committed to providing top quality medical care by serving and honoring America s Veterans. Candidates must possess an active, current, unrestricted license in any U.S. State. Highlights of this opportunity : * Potential starting base salary range: $ 232K-243K * Permanent full-time position * Schedule Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. 4:30 p.m. * Performs and records history and physical examinations and records data from clinic visits. * Provides medical care encompassing acute and chronic medical conditions and all appropriate preventive care for both male and female veterans. * Prescribes medications according to approved formulary, and in accordance with Federal and State Law. * Orders diagnostic tests, medications, laboratory tests as medically relevant for each patient.
